![]() ![]() ![]() Please dont turn this into a station or anchor war We absolutely ADORE Beamer. My post wasn't meant to slice and dice him or any anchor.I'm simply wondering if he or anyone on the news mentioned on air if he had been ill. 1 2 3 > 04-01-2009, 09:35 AM wCat 4,796 posts, read 14,673,075 times Reputation: 2731 Advertisements I know there are strong opinions about fav local TV stations, but I'm asking specifically about WOAI's top anchor, Randy Beamer. I did see where he has a blog and can be emailed, but I personally think it would be intrusive to ask him personal questions about his health in an email. I did google any stories about him, but nothing mentioned his health. What you're describing about "anchors" is sadly common among celebs.but I think you're smart enough to know that. But if you are concerned, why don't you email him as I am sure he like to hear from his fans! ![]() I hadn't noticed a change in his appearance, but I don't watch the local news too much as it is usually overly sensationalized. You'd think they would ask themselves, "how can you trust someone who cheated on somebody else to be with you?" If they do it once, they are likely to do it again.Īnyhow, Beamer is a pretty good anchor, he isn't as plastic or fake as many of them. If I recall correctly, they both subsequently had affairs and got divorced themselves, then later got back together or something like that. The female anchor was married to the sports anchor, but cheated on him with the weatherman and then got divorced and married to the weatherman. What is it with these local TV news crews? Almost the same thing happened back where my mom lives in Jacksonville, FL. Yes, Beamer was married with a child(ren) and he left his first wife for Ursalu Pari, who i believe was married at the time as well - so they both left their spouses for eachother - they married and had a child as well - then they divorced a few years back. ![]()
